Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 21, 2026

Scout is a private, invite-only personal work assistant. It brings a person’s own email, calendar, messages and other tools they connect into one place and helps them keep on top of them. This policy explains what data Scout accesses, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the Scout application at scout.treywoodward.com.

Who runs Scout

Scout is operated by Trey Woodward. Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to trey@gethumanity.ai.

Information Scout accesses

  • Account information. When you sign in with Google or Microsoft, Scout receives your name, email address and profile picture to identify you and control access.
  • Connected services. Only for the services you explicitly connect, and only with the permissions you grant, Scout accesses their data to do its job. Depending on what you connect this may include email messages, calendar events, contacts, meeting notes, chat messages, and data from other apps you link.
  • Content you provide. Notes, instructions and settings you enter in Scout.

How Scout uses it

Your data is used solely to provide the features you asked for: reading and triaging your inbox, drafting replies for your review, surfacing events and deadlines, searching your notes, and similar assistance. To do this, relevant content is processed by AI models (Anthropic) at the time it is needed. Scout does not use your data to train models, and it is not used for advertising.

Google user data

Scout’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide and improve the features you use in Scout, is not sold, is not transferred to others except as needed to provide the service or as required by law, and is not used for serving advertisements or for training generalized AI models.

Who your data is shared with

Scout does not sell your data. It is shared only with the service providers needed to run the application, and only to the extent required, for example AI processing (Anthropic), tool connectivity (Composio), and hosting and infrastructure (Vercel, database and email providers). These providers act on Scout’s behalf under their own terms.

Storage and security

Data is stored in secured databases and transmitted over encrypted connections. Access credentials for connected services are held by the connection provider and used only to fetch the data Scout shows you. Each person’s data is scoped to their own account.

Your choices

You can disconnect any connected service at any time from within Scout, which stops further access and removes the connection. You can revoke Scout’s access to your Google account at your Google Account permissions. To request deletion of your data, contact trey@gethumanity.ai.

Changes

This policy may be updated as Scout changes. The effective date at the top reflects the latest version.
